Ronnie Keys has been involved in Construction for over 35 years. He has extensive experience in Commercial and Residential Construction. Ronnie has worked in the Bryan/College Station area since graduation from Texas A&M University, Class of ’79. Ronnie and his partner, Kenn Walsh started Keys and Walsh Construction in April, 2005 and have grown the company to 12 employees in 8 years. Their number one priority is Quality First. Even as an owner, Ronnie is in the field daily supervising his own projects, whether, Commercial or Residential.
Ronnie is and avid hunter and enjoys the outdoors in general. He is a member of Cedar Creek Lodge AF & AM #300 in Kurten Texas, a member of The Texas A&M Track & Field Officials Association, a member of The Texas A&M Hall of Fame Selection Committee, a member of The 12th Man Foundation, as well as a Former High Jumper for Texas A&M. Ronnie was also a member of the 1977 Southwest Conference Championship Track Team. In his spare time Ronnie is probably planning his next Hinting/Fishing Trip.
Ronnie has been married to Alice Gallagher Keys, (Texas A&M Class of ’77), for 32 years and they have two wonderful children, Ronnie Jr and Christy, that just happen to be Texas Tech Red Raiders.
Kenn Walsh has been in the construction industry since graduating from Texas A&M in 2001 with a degree in Engineering Technology and Industrial Distribution. Kenn has extensive experience in Commercial and Residential Construction and specializes in estimating, as well as project management.
Ronnie Keys and Kenn have worked together closely since 2001. Since starting Keys & Walsh Construction in 2005 they have steadily grown the company and maintained an excellent reputation. Ronnie and Kenn have been successful by ensuring that quality is delivered at a fair price. As an owner, Kenn is personally involved in all aspects of the company and works with all customers directly for all projects.
Kenn has lived in the Brazos Valley since the 4th grade and upon Graduation from Texas A&M married Abbie Holditch Walsh, (Texas A&M Class of 2001). Abbie is currently a realtor for TM5 Properties and was born and raised in College Station. They have three wonderful children; Kyle (10), Ashlea (8) and Georgia (5). Kenn and Abbie are members of Grace Bible Church.
Kenn is an avid outdoorsman and especially enjoys hunting all over North America. He also tries to attend as many Aggie Athletic events as possible. Kenn was a student athlete while at A&M for the football team where he was a member of the Big 12 Championship team in 1998. Kenn is on the Board for the BCS Homebuilders Association, Vice President for the Brazos Valley Pop Warner League and also involved in various committees for local organizations and a coach for little league sports.
Lee W. Vaughn Jr.
Lee W. Vaughn Jr. has an extensive background in project management and all elements of construction. He has been a part of the Keys and Walsh Construction organization since its founding in 2005, acting as Superintendent for both Commercial and Residential projects.
Lee graduated from Hearne High School in 1961. After graduating Lee worked for Pacific Fruit Express and Cummins Diesel. His career path in construction began in 1968 when he began work for Carpenters and Millwright Union. He attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana where he obtained a Superintendent certification in 1975. In 1980 he returned to the Brazos Valley and began working as a superintendent for many respected firms as well as traveling throughout Texas, Missouri and Oklahoma to complete multi-family construction projects. Lee’s 45-year career experience, with everything from acoustical work to electrician expertise has led him to be an outstanding superintendent.
Lee and his wife, Patsy, have been married for 47 years and have two sons, Paul and Timothy. They also have six grandsons; Joshua, Carson, Zachery, Matthew, Christopher and Lance; two granddaughters, Heather and Cierra and four great granddaughters, Marli, Jaxson, Cheyanne and Raylee. Lee enjoys spending time with family, fishing, hunting and drag racing.
Keith Bastow is a Superintendent for Keys & Walsh Construction specializing in Healthcare, Commercial, and Residential Construction. With over 23 years of hands on experience in the construction industry, Keith brings a different approach as superintendent by performing several tasks himself such as drywall, acoustical systems, and millwork. He also has in-depth knowledge of ADA Compliance Guidelines, assuring that every job is up to current ADA standards.
Keith graduated from Hearne High School in 1988. He attended Lincoln Technical Institute, where he received a degree in Auto Technology. He proceeded to work for Hirtenberger Chevrolet for a short time, but was given the opportunity to work with a construction company and chose to make his career in construction instead of auto technology. Keith began as a laborer, quickly learning every aspect of construction on his way to foreman, and now is a knowledgeable and reliable hands-on superintendent.
Keith is a family man who enjoys spending his time off from work with his wife and children. He and his wife Shannon have been married for 19 years and have three lovely daughters; Sharee, Kiersten, and Laynie. The girls are avid softball players and their dad has coached their softball teams. Keith and Shannon also like to ride their Harley in their spare time.
Charles Vernon is a Superintendent with Keys and Walsh Construction with nearly 30 years of experience in the field. Charles is a lifelong resident of Bryan, where after attending Bryan High School, he began working in construction. Included in his extensive experience is a wealth of knowledge of millwork and cabinetry. Charles began working with Keys and Walsh in 2007 and has managed a wide-range of commercial and residential projects.
Charles and his wife JoLynn have been married for 21 years. Together they have four children and five grandchildren. Charles most enjoys spending time with his grandchildren, being outdoors on his Ranger 4×4 and watching drag racing.
Ronnie L Vaughn
Ronnie Vaughn is a Superintendent with Keys and Walsh Construction, and has extensive knowledge in Commercial and Residential construction. Ronnie has 39 years of experience with all types of building assemblies and components. He brings resourcefulness, creativity and ideas to each project with his base understanding of structural, electrical, mechanical systems and all types of interior finish design. Ronnie tells it straight. He is driven by a strong belief in honesty – offering his employers and associates direct viewpoints as well as accurate evaluations in what drives their concerns and decisions. Ronnie has been with Keys and Walsh since the founding of the company in 2005.
Ronnie attended schools in Hearne, Texas. In 1973, Ronnie moved to Houston, Texas where he attended four years at the Carpenter, Joiner and Millwright School and was a member of the Carpenters Local Union 213. He was employed by Schwarz Jordan, Inc, one of the largest building contractors in the Houston Metro area. With Schwarz Jordan, Inc he acquired extensive experience in acoustical ceilings, computer flooring and drywall systems. In 1979, Ronnie returned to the Bryan/College Station area and has since supervised the construction of many projects in and around the Brazos Valley.
Ronnie and his wife Diana live in the Black Jack community north of Bryan. They have three grown children and six grandchildren. Together they enjoy gardening and raising livestock. Ronnie also is an avid hunter, fisherman and also a musician. Diana enjoys sewing and quilting. They are active in their local church and community and especially enjoy living in the country.
Ronnie Keys, Jr.
Ronnie Keys, Jr. is an Estimator and Project Manager for Keys & Walsh Construction with comprehensive knowledge and understanding in both Commercial and Residential Construction. Having experience in all aspects of project management, from the bidding stage through to completion, his responsibilities include estimating, budgeting and cost control, project planning and coordination, site management, and project close-out. Ronnie is driven to have a broad impact rather than just deliver results and believes that by building and maintaining a relationship of trust, the foundation is set for a positive experience with a successful outcome. His greatest enjoyment is the satisfaction in connecting an incredible client with a quality end product that exceeds expectations – everyone wins.
Ronnie graduated from Texas Tech University in 2007 with a degree in Construction Engineering and is still a big supporter of everything Texas Tech. He is a member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association, supporter of the Red Raider Scholarship Fund, as well as various hunting organizations. In his spare time he loves to hunt, fish, snowboard, and spend time with family, friends, and his Miniature Australian Bulldog, Nixon.
Ronnie is married to Christi Warlick Keys, who is also a Texas Tech graduate with a degree in Nursing. Christi is currently a Registered Nurse at Scott & White.
Cari Richter has nearly 20 years of experience as Project Secretary in the construction field and has been with Keys and Walsh Construction since its founding in 2005. A long time co-worker of Ronnie Keys and Kenn Walsh, Cari is an excellent and trusted source of information and expediency for the organization.
After graduating from high school in Hearne, Cari attended Blinn College and studied Business Management. Her career began in banking and quickly transitioned into the field of construction in 1994.
Cari and her husband have two children and four dogs. She enjoys volunteering at her children’s schools and giving of her time to the local community. Cari’s great loves in life are her family, her job and her family of co-workers.
